How to grant access to an Adwords Client Manager
At SiteMeUp we have several client accounts that we have to access daily. We use a My Client Center (MCC) account to access all of our clients. To see a step by step guide on how to accept our request to access your Google Ads Account, please read on below.
STEP 1 – YOUR CLIENT NUMBER
Firstly Login to your Google Ads account. You will need to provide your account manager with your Googles Ads Customer ID number (which appears in the top right-hand corner of your Google Ads account).
Provide your account manager with your 10 digit client number.
Please note** NEVER give anyone your AdWords client number without having some form of conversation or even better an agreement.
Once you have provided your account number we will request access which you would need to approve. The below steps will show you how to accept our invitation.
STEP 2 – ACCOUNT SETTINGS
At the top right of your Google Ads account click on “TOOLS & SETTINGS” and select “Access and security” as illustrated below:
STEP 3 – ACCOUNT ACCESS
Near the top left you will see three options, USERS, MANAGERS and SECURITY. You should see a request from SiteMeUp Online Marketing which you can then approve. Once approved we will receive a notification and have access to manage your Google Ads account.
Below is where you will find our access for future reference.
