Before you begin
- Only business admins can add a partner.
- Your Agency must have a Business Manager.
- You will need the Agency business ID which can be requested.
We recommend that our clients have a Business Manager for Facebook so they too can control their assets and permissions easily. Below is a step by step process to creating a business manager. If you already have a business manager and want to grant access to the Agency jump to this section.
How to Create a Business Manager for Facebook
Be aware that an Ad Account and a Business Manager are not the same. A Business Manager serves as a central hub where all of your assets (Facebook Page, Ad Account, Pixel, Instagram Profile, Product Catalogue etc.) will be organised and can share permissions to partners.
You will need one in the case that:
- You want to manage multiple assets
- An agency will be running the ads for you – highly recommended
- You need to manage user access to the right people and right credit lines
- You have a more than one person managing your Facebook or Instagram Profiles
Before you begin
Make sure that you have a personal Facebook account to confirm your identity.
