    What is POPIA?

    The Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) is South Africa's data protection legislation. It regulates how organisations collect, process, store, and share personal information. SiteMeUp Online Marketing (Pty) Ltd is committed to full compliance with POPIA and to protecting the personal information of our clients, website visitors, and partners.

    Lawful Basis for Processing

    Cross-Border Data Transfers

    Some of the third-party services we use (such as Google Analytics and Mailchimp) may process data outside of South Africa. Where this occurs, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place and that the receiving party provides an adequate level of data protection in line with POPIA requirements.

    Data Retention

    We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. When personal information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.
